This day will be an immersive day looking at Biomechanics, movement patterns and how we can improve horses posture, balance, coordination, proprioception, topline, soundness & longevity and aid in creating functional movement when dysfunctional patterns exist. . Multiple horses will be presented in hand on the day to asses and look at the influence of;
The influence conformation has on a horses capacity to carry good posture and how to tailor training to support the conformation.
Spinal Alignment; why spinal function is important and how to improve your horses spinal function.
Posture and how we can help our horses develop good posture.
Topline and ventral line development. What areas of the horse have atrophied of hypertrophied and why.
The thoracic sling and the relationship between pelvic function and thoracic sling function.
Indicators to help identify dysfunction and how we can create function again through movement.
Hoof balance and the importance of healthy hoof development and function.
The process for rehabilitation for Kissing Spine, Pelvic pain, thoracic sling dysfunction, topline syndrome, Sacroiliac disease and other dysfunctions in the body.
This is an interactive day with a lot of discussions around what each horse presents on the day.
There will be a Q & A section where questions are highly encouraged.
BYO Lunch/drinks and a chair.
Horses are provided on the day.
Workshop cost is $225 per person. Limited places. A 50% deposit is required upon booking.
